At both settings we have staff that have the following qualifications: NVQ3 and some in training NVQ2. All staff have child protection.   All are police checked; Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Equal Opportunities, Special Needs, Outdoor Provision and 90% are First Aid trained.

Keyworker (top)

Each child s assigned a keyworker who will initially help your child with the settling in process and who will eventually, through a process of observation, evaluation and parental input, put together individual play plans to continue and further your child’s development at a pace suitable for him/her.

Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) (top)

The Pre-Schools operates a Special Educational Needs Policy which is available to view on the notice board. Each Pre-School has a nominated SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). Each SENCO is available to discuss any concerns on SEN issues you may have and will resource any information or help you may need from the relevant professional bodies.
