At Paddington Pre-School - Stage 2 we aim to provide a caring and stimulating environment to encourage children to become more independent and confident and help them to thrive in a friendly atmosphere.

Clothing (top)

As playgroup likes to promote and encourage the children's full participation in all activities, we would request that parents send their children in clothes suited to messy activities and that in bad weather wellingtons are provided for outdoor play. Our own Paddington sweatshirts are available - details on request. In the summer weather we would request you send your child with an appropriate sun hat, named, for outdoor play. Children attending Paddington Pre-School Stage Two will be expected to take part in P.E. Sessions; children will need a named P.E. Kit in a named P.E. Bag.

Illness (top)

Please do not send your child if they are unwell as it is unfair to your child, the other children and staff. A list of infectious diseases and their exclusion periods can be found in the "Polices" area of this website within the "Health and Safety Policy" document.

Paddington Pre-School Stage One: Monday to Friday 8:45am to 11:45am

Paddington Pre-School Stage Two: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 11:50pm

Lunch is 12:00pm to 12:50pm (stage2 only). Please bring a packed lunch, cost £2.50.

Afternoon sessions are available at Stage Two and we recommend that all children attending the Stage Two pre-school should attend at least one afternoon session.

Afternoon session times are 1:00pm to 3:50pm

Fees (top)

Fees are £9 per session. Payment is preferred half-termly in advance. Flexible arrangements, in certain cases, are available upon request. Payment of each session is required even if your child does not attend, as playgroup has a limited budget. A helf term’s notice is required should you wish to remove your child. Paddington Pre-School Stage Two is registered to accept Nursery Vouchers from those children eligible to receive them.
